24K Gold Vitamin C Serum

When I first opened the box, the sight of gold made me excited to try this product, it was all sparkly and shiny (can you tell I haven’t had nearly enough sleep lately!?).

My husband actually works at a Goldmine… I wonder if any of this was gold he collected…

It took a few pumps to get the serum up, but after 4-5 pumps the product was easily coming up. It glittered in my hand quite a bit

But when applied to my face there was not a ton of glitter. If you’d like that, then you would probably need to put it on fairly thick. There was some minor gold flecks, but someone would need to be fairly close I believe to see it.

I found there was a fairly strong smell to the product, and I VERY sensitive to smell however, so I am not sure how others will find this. I am assuming this is the Rose Extract they’ve added. For those with very sensitive noses I would not recommend this product.

According to their site, the ISA Professional XANADU Serum is formulated with a combination of Botanical ingredients, high tech science, and 24K Real Gold. It will moisturize, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, even skin tone, repair sun damage, and give you a golden youthful glow.

I did notice that my skin felt softer, as stated by their site, I found this to be a good moisturizer. I haven’t noticed any reduction of wrinkles (I don’t have wrinkles… really… they are an illusion! Don’t believe me!? Sigh… had to try!)

My tone is fairly even already so I was not able to judge that, nor do I have sun damage, since I am more of a vampire than a sunflower! If I notice those changes, I will be sure to let you know!

Directions
Apply twice a day, once in the morning and once at night, on freshly cleansed skin. Avoid eyes and mouth. For speedy application, pump the bottle top twice into the palm of one hand, rub palms together, then apply to face. For luxurious application, place one pump on each cheek (where your dimples would be) and smooth onto face with your finger tips in a circular upward motion. WARNING: The second method may leave tiny flecks of gold intact on your face for your friends to envy!
